Téchne Furniture Return Policy
Introduction
At Téchne Furniture, we are dedicated to creating high-quality custom furniture designed to meet the exact needs and preferences of our clients. Our return policy reflects the nature of these unique products and complies with the current legislation regarding consumer rights, especially in the context of custom orders.
Customized products and applicable legislation
According to Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 regarding consumer rights, article 16, letter c, consumers do not have the right to return personalized products. This applies when the products are made according to the exact specifications of the consumer or are clearly customized for them. Since all products offered by Téchne Furniture are made to order and tailored to the client's preferences (dimensions, colors, finishes), they fall under this legal exception.
Thus, the return of customized products is not accepted after the order confirmation and the start of the production process.
Exceptions to the return policy
Although the return of customized products is not possible according to the legislation, there are certain situations in which Téchne Furniture will accept the remedy or replacement of products:
(*)Manufacturing defects: If the delivered product has manufacturing defects or material defects, Téchne Furniture will ensure the repair or replacement of the defective parts, in accordance with the 2-year warranty provided for all our products.
(*)Product not compliant with agreed specifications: If the delivered product does not match the final specifications confirmed by the client (dimensions, colors, finishes), Téchne Furniture will correct the error at no additional cost to the client.
Complaint procedure
In the event that a product has manufacturing defects or does not meet the agreed specifications, the customer must follow these steps:
(1)Reporting the defect or non-compliance: Fill in the online form on the <a>Complaints Procedure</a> page, attaching relevant photographs and a clear description of the issue. Alternatively, you can contact us by phone at 0376 441 143 or by email at reclamatii@technefurniture.com.
(2)Complaint assessment: Our team will evaluate the complaint and, if necessary, will provide remedies or replacements. We will respond within 5 working days from the receipt of the notification.
(3)Resolution: Depending on the type of complaint, we will either provide the repair of the product or its replacement. If the resolution requires repairs, Téchne Furniture will arrange for the collection of the product and its return at no cost to the customer.
General conditions for accepting complaints
In order to benefit from the repair or replacement of the product, the following conditions must be met:
(*)The product has not been used improperly or damaged due to inadequate maintenance.
(*)The product has not been modified or repaired by unauthorized persons.
(*)The complaint was made within the established timeframe of 48 hours from delivery.
Product warranty
Téchne Furniture offers a 5-year warranty for all custom products, covering manufacturing defects and the materials used. In case of a claim during this period, the product will be repaired or replaced according to the procedure outlined above.
Limitation of liability
Téchne Furniture is not responsible for any non-conformities arising from improper use of the products or from failure to comply with maintenance and assembly instructions. Additionally, the return of products for reasons related to personal tastes, aesthetic preferences, or incorrectly communicated dimensions by the customer is not permitted.
Final provisions
This return policy is an integral part of the terms and conditions of sale of Téchne Furniture. By placing an order, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these conditions.
